Happy GroundHog Day!
I'm pleased to announce that the ground hog saw, (or was it didn't see?!) his shadow! In any case, we're supposed to get an early spring-only six more weeks of winter! yippeee!
Now someone please explain to me why we need meterologists when we have animals prediciting the weather for us?!
I mean we could follow the lead of birds and go down south for the winter, or like bears and get fat all fall and then hibernate and live off that fat for the winter months (hmm...sounds pretty doable :) ....or like this groundhog, live in a hole for like 6 months, crawl out-make a 50-50 prediction and then come back out when the weather is nice.......
we're doing it all wrong!
In any case, I hope this ground hog is right because you know what I'm getting ready for-yup, dare i say it-sandals and capris! off with the layers, i say!
alright, alright, I'll get a grip....after all, 6 weeks can turn into 2 months real fast........
